cycling (road) 3:05:00 [3] 73.0 km (2:32 / km)

Gorgeous bright sunny morning and a bit warmer than yesterday. A group road ride had been planned for those doing the RTCC preparation for next weekend's event. Steve C., Connie and Dave O, Carolyn and Gerhardt, Martha and I rode out 6th Line past Glen Huron to Creemore and then over to Dunedin. I was barely able to hang on to the group. Good thing Carolyn and Dave took pity on me and kept waiting. Some turned back home at Dunedin but Martha, Carolyn and I carried on, up, up, and up the looooong climb toward 124 (those 2 kicked my ass) and then across to Badjeros. Once we got there the ascending was done. I didn't feel bad, I guess I was still not recovered from last weekend or just didn't have the gears? Once we started headed north rolling along toward Rob Roy is was steady and smooth and lovely all the way down Pretty River Road. So fun. We headed into Nottawa where Martha treated us to a latte at the General Store which was a treat. Then we headed back into town. Great ride:)

cycling (road/trail) 1:20:00 [3] 27.0 km (2:58 / km)

I felt so good, that after leaving the others I rode to Sunset and then along the harbour out to Cranberry, up Ash Creek trail, and around town to the market. When I got home I checked my distance and decided that since I was at 93km I really should go finish 100. I took a long route to the Spit and dove in for a most delicious swim. It was not ice, Cool but not painful. It felt soooo good!
