Pathetic, unhappy run. Very mild, very muddy - and the horrible clay section the TRCA plowed was at its worst. I'd have been better off throwing pottery. I could have made several bowls with the clay stuck to each foot. Still, an hours outside on a trail even in the muck is better than not getting out at all.

Green here, but they got just enough snow up on the escarpment to hide the fact that they got just enough snow. Hard ice underneath 8cm of fresh snow rolled this morning. It wasn't really very fast but it was nice smooth skating. The track was decent up top, better than last Sat. The sun came out and it was like spring skiing, but a bit early. Only the orange/yellow/blue was open. The back red was scoured as were the quarry loop and hawberry field. But what was open was really nice.

Another "nice " day - for April. It wasn't as warm as yesterday but it was warmer than many days in track season, and greener. Ran the sidewalks with the team followed by balance and strength work.

Mucky, squishy, icy messy trail run in Bolton Camp - in shorts and t-shirt. 16 degrees and sunny, very windy - the worst conditions for keeping snow if there is any. Bummer for Highlands. Bummer for nordic. But Harps must be delighted. Nice to get out on a spring-like day anyway. I'm giving up on winter.

Stability/flexibility with Shawn T., after a pretty similar session at a strength/conditioning workshop for coaches today. There were other workshops where we got some activity; badminton, soccer, flag football. Fun to try some new stuff, listen to experts in their sports.
