Pathetic excuse for a "workout" but all I could do was walk gingerly on the beach. Too windy and rough to paddle and my knee is horrible :(

Can't do much with my legs and 2 days spent at track finals watching kids run, jump and through has made me restless. So I had to do something tonight and as a last resort headed to the pool. It was predictably quiet - Fri. night of a long weekend, so at least I wasn't battling for a spot in a lane. I actually felt pretty good and it didn't hurt my knee which was nice.

Note

Knees are a mess - worse today. Went to physio and had acupuncture. Seemed worse this afternoon. Bike feels ok, standing is bad, especially after sitting. Feel like I have a tennis ball in the back of my knee.

Very beautiful early morning. Clear, clear sky, sun just up filtering through the trees, making the heavy dew sparkle, lots of birdsong and no one else up:)
It wasn't much of a workout really but my knee couldn't handle much more. I wanted to try my new hiking boots though - very comfy.
