classic ski (Highlands) 1:20:00 [3] 12.0 km (6:40 / km)

Another bluebird day! Chilly early this a.m. but sweeeet skiing. The tracks were awesome and I snuck in a beautiful classic ski before lessons.
10 AM

skate ski (lessons) 3:00:00 [3]

4 lessons and it was so fun to be out on the front fields on the winding track Chanse set. Couldn't have been a nicer day to teach - or do anything outside.
3 PM

skate ski (Highlands) 1:10:00 [3] 14.0 km (5:00 / km)

It was just too nice not to go for another ski after the lessons. The Woolner Loop was really fun today with extra fingers. What an awesome day - before the rains move in.

Super spectacular day!! So bright it hurt the eyes. Headed up to Scenic Caves where Goose and I did a short ski to the Lookout then went back to meet Bash and Bent. It was such gorgeous weather and views!! A great skate then dinner at ABC.

core strength.flexibiity 30:00 [3]

Spent much of the day driving to Markham for an appointment and waited almost 2 hours to see the doctor. It was worth it though. Dr. Ko was very good. An integrative care specialist with sports medicine/rehab experience. Very interesting to talk to and very holistic.
Did some light upper body weights, strength, planks, balance, stretches etc.

classic ski (park) 1:30:00 [3]

Headed through the park to try the river but it was punky ice and there was lots of slush so I went over to the soccer fields and did a couple of laps then did some intervals in bright sunshine:)
6 x 1 min. sprint, 30 sec. easy striding.
Cool down back through the park.

classic ski (park) 30:00 [3]

Very short toodle around the park. Good snow, sunny, very cold temps but I only had a small window and I needed a bit of a rest day.

volleyball (tournament) 3:50:00 [3]

Got talked into playing volleyball with a group of ladies in London who were desperate for players this weekend. I got to visit my mom as well so it was all good. My body held up but it took a little while to get into quick-movements mode. We had fun and played ok for old ladies. I'll be sore in a day or 2
