Cool but bright day. Goose and I did a decent hike on the Highlands trails - and a lot of of stick-picking. Snow's coming next week so they're trying to clear the trails so they can groom.

Another soppy soggy soupy grey day. Too warm. After picking some stuff up in O'ville I stopped at Island Lake and amused myself linking together various sections of the Sugar Bush, Memorial and Vicki Barron lake trails. I did a steady ski striding session on very nice trails:). You never feel worse for getting outside and moving.

Hard to get motivated to get out the door today, so grey and dull and soggy.
Jogged up Glasgow Rd. and over into the DeRose subdivision at the top of Edelweiss hill. Did some hill bounding and then jogged home.

Supply taught at Mayfield - exaclty one, yes one, student this morning in person. On the lunch hour I met Mrs. Huet at Heart Lake for a snowshoe wander around the park. There was definitely still enough snow. A bit crusty but still nice. Did not see another soul.

Big fat fluffy snowy day! Woo-hoo:). Walked to Susie's and by the time I got there everything was coated with white - including the last of my vegetables. I got some broccoli florets, brussel srpouts, leeks, beets and carrots. And the snow just kept coming down, straight down. No wind. It was gorgeous. By evening there were about 20cm. and all the trees were coated with a very pretty layer. For the first ski of the season I went through and around the park, over to the soccer fields for a few laps and then back. Few sticky spots but really quite good!
