Drove back through lots more drizzle and rain then worked on the house for a few hours with Goose. He worked hard while I was away. It's almost completely gutted.
Got out for a quick ride from Humberview up Mt. Hope, across Castlederg and back down Mt. Pleasant to Mt. Wolfe. I finished by riding the trail through Bolton Camp on another very fine fall day.

mtbike (Albion Hills) 1:30:00 [3] 20.0 km (4:30 / km)
Went up to Albion after school and rode a fairly tame choice of loops as my hands were pretty sore, then I finished with a block of Duffy's Lane, Castlederg, Humber Station Old Church. It was a gorgeous afternoon, warm enough to wear shorts:)
Got out for a 1/2 hour walk in the mist before the real rain started. Then did 1-foot balances, planks, push ups, core, ab/back ex. etc. Stretching Then it was grunt work ripping off ceiling tiles, panelling and pulling nails. My hands are sore.
Wet, windy dreary drizzly day. Pulled a lot of floor tiles then felt the need to get outside. Went for a good walk down to the waterfront and managed to hang onto my umbrella despite the strong gusts.
Short but hilly wee tour of Duntroon before breakfast on a brisk but bright morning.
12 PM
hiking (Bruce Trail) 1:30:00 [3] 8.0 km (11:15 / km)
Another tree-planting session at Highlands this morning, not alone today. Susie and I went up and met Connie and Dave O., and Sue U. We figured we did more than 10% of the 400 trees:) Then we went for a very nice hike up the Highlands trails to the Bruce, north and across 91 and back on the side trail.
3 PM
canoeing (bay) 45:00 [3]
It was bright and sunny when I headed down from Duntroon and there wasn't any real wind so I got the Pocket Rocket and went for a paddle in the harbour. It got dark and cloudy but was calm when I started. Then the south wind started to swing around from the north and it was getting a bit choppy. Still a nice paddle. I can't believe it was my first one in October!?!
