trail Run (Bolton Camp) 35:00 [3] 3.5 km (10:00 / km)

Took the trail through Bolton Camp to the school. Jogged the flats and ski strode the up hills on a nice bright crisp morning. Hard to be in a bad mood.

8 AM

hiking (escarpment) 40:00 [3] 4.0 km (10:00 / km)

Did a morning jog-hike up Sydenham Trail and onto the trail in the woods. Nice wake up outing before it got wetter.
12 PM

cycling (rail trail) 45:00 [3] 16.0 km (2:49 / km)

Got out on the town trails during a relatively dry window. Fairly strong wind from the south. Guess that's what brought the fog, drizzle later.

hiking (Balm Beach) 1:10:00 [3] 5.0 km (14:00 / km)

After a frustrating day trying to get blood tests done - impossible in Collingwood I discovered, so I had to drive all the way to Midland - I was feeling the need to get out and move. Stopped at Balm Beach on the way home and had a good walk right along the water. There was quite a bit of wet snow In Midland, way more than in Collingwood. The beach was snow covered except right at the water's edge and it wasn't easy walking but it was beautiful. Heavy grey shrouds of clouds out over the bay and the lovely calming sound of waves rolling in onto the snd. Love it. Saw a big bald eagle too.

hiking (rail trail) 1:10:00 [3] 6.0 km (11:40 / km)

Another crazy weather day, lots of wet snow, tiny snow balls, rain, sun etc. Met Susie and Jen C. for a flat but brisk hike on the town trails. My rib still hurts:(
