First lesson of the season:)
High school novice group from Woodstock and London. Gorgeous birght sparkly morning. The escarpment was brilliant with a bit of fresh snow and frost. We had the whole ski area to ourselves for 17 kids. Super nice kids who listened really well and made good progress. It was a lot of fun.

Been fighting a cold, not covid (tested 3 times) and just didn't have it in me to do anything except play with Ahfre today.

skate ski (Highlands) 30:00 [3]

It was cold enough overnight for Chanse and Hayden to blow some snow. Enough for a 200m loop in front of the chalet. After shooting practice I went out on my skate skis for a swim-style session. Back and forth working on technique with some double pole sprints. Had the place to myself:) It was decent snow and my skis were fine.

Friday morning crazy ladies jog around town and then lattes at the Summit Social House. It hurts my knees but it's nice to chat.

Supply taught on another grey chilly day then went for a ride on the town trails to get some air.

Another dreary drizzly day. Rode over to the gym for a cross-fit circuit. It was a good workout and I went hard. Lots of squat variations with kettlebells, 1-foot balances with weights, core work, and med ball slams and tosses

Rode some of the town trails and along the waterfront in the misty moisty weather as a cool down.
