Technique and hill repeats with some biathletes on a pouffy layer of fine fresh snow. Skiing on a cloud. Not fast but very nice:)

Private lesson with a capable and mature skier and an elementary school group of not so mature skiers! Fun in the sun though. Fairly cold but no wind and lots of fresh snow, groomed nicely for classic:)

After the kids left Susie S and I went for a really pretty loop. The trees got plastered with a bit of ice and then a coating of snow last night and were just gorgeous today. Under blue sky, lovely light - magical.

There was a fair bit of snow overnight but we didn't get the freezing rain here. Roads were bad so buses were cancelled. I chose not to drive today. Walked over to the gym for a "Nooner" workout. It was quite good for mobility and strength. Felt good.

"Pancake Ski" with staff and families. We couldn't ski across to the Bruce Trail and down the Lobsinger to the Duntroon church hall, due to large dirt patches and lack of snow, so we did a nice loop, in reverse in gorgeous late afternoon light. Chanse pulled baby Bay in the pulke:)

Another bright crisp morning that warmed to a spring-like day. Oddly, no lessons on Family Day. So Susie S. and I went for a very nice skate tour of the whole system, on great gliding snow, then she headed down to work in the shop and I did another lap before it all turned to mashed potatoes, and I headed down to Brampton to see Tman. Good day:)

Got out early, first tracks before biathlon shooting practice. The snow was great, my legs were not. Very tired after yesterday. So I stayed low and just glided on the green a few times and the connector trails. It was nice.
Then set up the range and we had a fun practice in the crazy gusty wind again out of the SW. And I got to shoot a .22. Hit 3/5:)
