Went out to eagle rock to help my mom out with the damn map (needs so much work..), jogged some trails, stopped frequently to draw new trails and not so new bolders, and enjoyed the cool evening weather.

1st time Oing in Long Island, on West Hills County Park map, which is kind of green (thorns, blueberries and mtn laurel) but has some interesting terrain. Don't know why but I had energy to push it today and I managed to finish strong. Had a few minor mistakes but mostly decent navigation, #3 and 11 were a bit off from their proper spot but thankfully these were the only two. Tough woods to run through but I enjoyed the challange.
Bad news: I'm more sick.

love this kind of weather, sunny, 70 degrees, and not humid. ran well but was slowed down by stomach pains. might be getting my motivation back since i'm feeling better.

toughing it out today in hot humid weather, feeling rather weak, not sure why, maybe immune system is fighting something.

there are some bushes or trees that give off a really pleasant sweet scent but I couldn;t figure out which ones in particular that do that.
