awesome run, haven't had one of these in a while, def stress relief.
60C, sunny, cleaveland park (cruising back by westvill ave on slight downhill), extra hills were included and stomach pains shut out by 30min.

Washington Crossings Red course:
damn, so many thorny bushes, 1:10 old map (as usual), and lots and lots of rain.
my run: not that bad, made some mistakes but at least I was aware of what I was doing wrong. this means improvement is coming along slowly :0.. I doubt I'll make it in time for hte US champs but hey, there's always next year..

strong run in the light rain to cleaveland park, legs felt pleasantly tired towards the end. no stomach pains, yay!! all i had to do was eat a nice fatty muffin.

started out as a jog on trails but some nasty puddles forced me to jog on the streets of my neighborhood and that meant checking out ten million garage sales on the way. it was nice out. glad i took a rest day yest. my legs were heavy.

Thursday Oct 11

went out to the high school track after work and it was so nice running in the rain, esp. doing track work-out. I ran 6 - 800m with 200m jog in between, last one being 1km. Felt decent and didn't even need to stop on account of my stomach b/c the pain was tolerable. I don't have a working watch anymore so these inervals were based on how I felt, apprx time could be from 21-23 min for total 5km.

pros: the football team wasn't staring at me (these guys looked really puny, even in their uniforms; I guess they were intimidated by my awesome athletic abilities and trained physique.. hehe..)
cons: left ankle hurt afterwards :( in heel/achilles area

ankles and knees sore from sun. some strange elbow pain also..

Collecting three controls of loop 1 highlander on hogencamp mtn map. those stands are pretty heavy so I just took the trails instead of going through the woods. nice warm-up though

Last loop of the highlander; going at a decent pace but overrunning some stuff on 1 and 3 (the scale seemed less than 1:10 for some reason but that's prob just me), to 8 - lost some time taking left side of the powerline even though i saw the woods were clear on the right and there was a better approach to control w/ less climb and rocks.
