damn, so many thorny bushes, 1:10 old map (as usual), and lots and lots of rain. my run: not that bad, made some mistakes but at least I was aware of what I was doing wrong. this means improvement is coming along slowly :0.. I doubt I'll make it in time for hte US champs but hey, there's always next year.. | ||

| started out as a jog on trails but some nasty puddles forced me to jog on the streets of my neighborhood and that meant checking out ten million garage sales on the way. it was nice out. glad i took a rest day yest. my legs were heavy. | ||

| went out to the high school track after work and it was so nice running in the rain, esp. doing track work-out. I ran 6 - 800m with 200m jog in between, last one being 1km. Felt decent and didn't even need to stop on account of my stomach b/c the pain was tolerable. I don't have a working watch anymore so these inervals were based on how I felt, apprx time could be from 21-23 min for total 5km.
pros: the football team wasn't staring at me (these guys looked really puny, even in their uniforms; I guess they were intimidated by my awesome athletic abilities and trained physique.. hehe..) cons: left ankle hurt afterwards :( in heel/achilles area | ||
