Feeling really sick today, staying home

Day 2, feeling somewhat better this morning I decided to go out on the course. Today's goal was to read ahead more and especially focus on properly coming out of each control. Concentration was good and legs felt strong so pushed harder on trails and uphills. Took some inefficient route choices but clean otherwise on this more interesting, more technical course.

Feeling like poop this morning and trying to hide from sunlight but still going out on the course in hopes that it may make me feel better. Fast course today, so unusual by WP standards, fun but not all that exciting. Didn't push myself, just plodding along, wiping liquids from my nose and eyes. I am proud to say I checked every clue description and every control code today, even multiple times at times because my concentration was dodgy.
After I finished I felt very sickly so decided to take some antibiotics once home.

Back in Spain I remember Greg was telling me that Portugal and Spain compete for who organizes O-events the best. It seems this time they are competing for who puts on the worst events. sigh.

West Essex trail, fartlek style. Tried to really open up my stride, yoga is helping with this.
