Running (Long) 1:55:30 [2] 21.0 km (5:30 / km) +7m 5:29 / km
I may have overdid it a touch on this one. Set out to do the whole marked route of Saddle River Pathway, which is 6 miles one way. I didn't know where it officially started, parked at the top but not at the trailhead. Hence, extra mile added to my run. My watch completely failed in the beginning, and I had to stop and reboot it.
Although it is pleasant to run on a nice paved path along the river passing walkers, being passed by bikers and faster runners, doing a long run by yourself is extremely boring. I had music, thankfully, and at times I would enter into a meditative trance, my legs moving effortlessly. At the end though, I could feel my muscles becoming very tight and my energy levels reaching the bottom.
Left foot super sore afterwards, need to be cautious. Had this type of pain previously.
