time halved. cycle to and from work

Running (warm up mile) 8:45 [3] 1.0 mi (8:45 / mi)

Warm up mile

Running 59:00 [3] 8.0 mi (7:22 / mi)

Run in Richmond Park. Nice. Involved the usual dogs trying to trip me up, cyclists trying to kill me and families just generally getting in the way - I'm not good at sharing ;) Had intended on just a gentle run, but after the first mile was bored so ran faster. Generally happy, whilst not my fastest run I still ran well despite going out with my 'excuses' , but excuses are just that. Ran well up the hill half way round, anhilating a man also running up it! I'm so competative. I could tell he tried to go with me for a little while, ha ha love that! I also pushed myself up Broomfield hill even when running out the bottom of Roehampton Gate would have been a more straightforward route home. Go me! Ha ha.

Running (Warm down) 12:48 [3] 1.7 mi (7:32 / mi)

Warm down run home. Well it was meant to be a warm down anyway. It felt like a warm down. It was actually slower than my run, even though attack point indicates only a 10s difference, it's just that the average run time doesnt take into account some of the hinderance I faced.

Running 45:56 [3] 5.77 mi (7:58 / mi)

Had to really make myself go out this morning. Working a late shift and that psychologically makes me feel lethargic. So, I am proud that I got up and went for a run. Stupid really as I love running, it's just somewhat ruined by other (more 'important') activities like work - boo!

Cycling 30:00 [3]

Time halved. Cycle to and from Barnes Hospital. Lovely cycle again through Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park. 9-5 (or 4 as training always finishes early) is the life! Gives u so much more time. I definitely need a 9-5 job when I come back from Canada.

Running 48:41 [3] 6.0 mi (8:07 / mi)

Just couldn't run today at all. Times all over the place, ranging from 8:36 min/miles to 7:40 min/miles. You know it's going to be a bad run from the minute you start, but you just have to stick at it. The stray dog trying to trip me up and finding myself running uphill on a horse track did not help much. I stopped a couple of times as my heart just wasn't in it. Shame because I had a lovely cycle home, and was really looking forward to my run.
