Cambell park in MK and a bit of Willen Lake.

2 hour ski pass MK dome. Take away the cup of coffee half time :) and using the lifts, prob skiing for about an hour. Great fun as always. Remembered a few more little points from my time in Canada.

Thought I'd go for a slow, slightly longer run to get back into it, as not feeling my fittest again. Always a result of night shifts. Not long and night shifts will be a thing of the past :) A few interesting hindrances i.e. pain in my ribs... not a stitch, felt more like what I imagine a broken rib would feel like, a child that cycled into my legs...ouch! and to top it off two adult cyclist that decided to cycle straight at me as I was trying to run up Broomfield hill!!!!

Time Halved. Skiing at MK snow dome. Felt good. Wearing my new ski boots. Was good fun skiing with the family again. Proud of them for all remembering how to ski, as they were very nervous.

25 miles with brother. Mark has a lovely new road bike. I'm dead jealous, but I think my mountain bike did well to keep up. Average speed 15 miles per hour. Time halved.

Note

I was supposed to run today. Decided that I would gain nothing from it though as legs tired. So I feel a sense of achievement from that decision. Whilst this means that it'll only be three runs, assuming I run tomorrow, I think listening to my body is a step forward (also not being a psycho about it is an achievement too)

Horrible run. I had no energy. Had to stop on several occasions to just walk for a little while and stretch my knee. I'm not surprised though. Really hard week at work, on my feet the whole time and consequently very poor nutrition and hydration.
