walked for 5min at the end because a few tendons/muscles round top of leg seemed to be pulling/getting too tired. not sore now though.
Something was up with lower back. central points on either side of spine, built up to sharp pain (at 20min), more so on L. slowed a bit and it wasn't bothering me at the end. has happened before after a few days off.

'army' run again (passed a bunch of army guys doing the same run in the opposite direction, running back to their big as truck) (=Same track as on Saturday)
Went quite a bit further than last time, but took less overall time. (perhaps because everything was frozen I had to run fast.)
Leg aching now ( 6h after run) but wasn't that sore during run.

Slow getting over to the paddocks in the cold.
Stopped to scrape the ice off the bottom of Toby's shoes and wipe the frost off a patch of grass so he could eat!

(injured)

munched my calf with bike pedal when I missed a jump 2days ago. still quite bruised and swollen (yesterday's run didn't help it i'm sure). Iced last night and today. So no run today, to give it another day to get over itself.

Found a great new track. mostly flat. 2 decent, long hills
The previous 2 days of no running, after having upped the training, might have made a huge difference. Pain-free until 27min on this run. felt great.
