munched my calf with bike pedal when I missed a jump 2days ago. still quite bruised and swollen (yesterday's run didn't help it i'm sure). Iced last night and today. So no run today, to give it another day to get over itself.
Found a great new track. mostly flat. 2 decent, long hills
The previous 2 days of no running, after having upped the training, might have made a huge difference. Pain-free until 27min on this run. felt great.
(pine track - towards W road) more hills than intended. quite achy from early on & didn't feel it was smart to push the hills on the way back. walked for 5 afterwards to try get rid of the pain, worked a bit. icing now.
(10min break after the first 7min running - stopped to feed horse)
sitting on hottie for .5hr straight after run seemed to help. but then did a 1.5hr exam 1hr after the run & V sore by end of exam (even w cushion)
