JIRCS Relays

Harry (Scott) did brilliant, coming in with a 2 min lead and 3 mins to the scots, but unfortunately Ben dropped some time meaning I went out a fair way back. Had a shocking start, went to the wrong gaffle on 2 and 3, even went to 4 before 3 and felt like such a punter. So was dropped by the Harry/Jack train and spent about half the course chasing them down which was grim as anything. Eventually caught the pack and got to the front with Harry, and a shorter gaffle at the end meant I beat him in. Fantastic fun, just wish I could have not been such an idiot at the start.

Kings Buildings Sprint

Good fun, really cool to run around all the uni buildings. Found it quite hard to know where I was allowed to cross green as the map isnt the best, and the lack of kites at some controls meant I was very unsure I had actually gone to the control, but that doesnt really matter. Looking back I've realised I forgot to go to 13, oops!

Not sure how good my sprint technique is atm but I guess I'll find out next week.

Trying out the new pool, very nice. Just did 20 lengths then joined Alex's aquajogging sesh for a bit. Good fun, lost a lot of swimming fitness over the summer though so will take a while to get that back.

10 x 400m [90s] with the Haries. Felt decent but didn't want to push too hard with lots of racing coming up. Much prefer intervals with a group, makes it a lot easier. Who'd have thought it?

Cycle with Will and his friends around the seat. Was a wee bit outclassed but very enjoyable though!
