11 AM

run 40:00 [4] 7.15 km (5:36 / km) +62m 5:22 / km

morning run, feeling good
3 PM

climbing 30:00 [1]

3 sets of 10minute climbs, different walls for each one.
Had to use autobelay wall and they were all a bit above my usual difficulty, didn't make it all the way to the top on any but just getting back into it so tried out some moves and marvelled at the autobelayer...
7 PM

sprintervals 1:04:00 [4] 10.9 km (5:52 / km) +42m 5:46 / km

this is not the first time I have turned up to a 'sprint race' only to discover it's actually street-o (Venice 2010). I shouldn't have run this morning and gone climbing, this was a mistake.
Yeah not fast but I ran all the way round, probably made a mistake choosing to miss out 2 controls in centre of map...maybe should have picked off 2 of the further out controls to miss like 10 and 2 which were to the far right of the map. Didn't think my route choices were awful, only had to dogleg a few and never by a great distance.
I need purple lines and order.

cycling 40:00 [2] 12.0 km (3:20 / km) +80m 3:14 / km

my legs are killing me from Monday/Tuesday!! I'm sure our trainer was out for blood on Monday - fully traumatised after that game of tig where you could only travel by doing lunges and had to squat if you were tagged. MEAN.

anyway - cycles to training trying to keep as relaxed as possible with little standing up in the bike
6 PM

sprintervals race 7:12 [4] *** 1.2 km (6:00 / km)

Prologue
Volunteered to start first, immediately regretted it.
Didn't realise they didn't all have SI boxes soo wasted some time at no. 1 wondering what was going on.
Wasted more time at no. 2 and got caught up by the next 2 people.
Ran around with them pretty much the rest of the way, didn't let myself get distracted just focusing on smoothly moving in and out of controls which was intentionally made tricky. No particular route choice options and hit all of them alright just a bit slow :)

sprintervals 7:55 [4] 1.2 km (6:36 / km)

It says 2.1km on the map but I think its probably a typo...I'm not convinced it was 2.1km because then I would be orienteering at 3:46mins/km pace....I don't even think I could run on a track that quickly...

yeah really good, everything went really well until the potted garden where there were children and families and pretty much the whole group at one point running round all these funny plant pots, lots of fun, very hard to see the no. 16 so wasted some time there. Think everything else went smoothly.
7 PM

cycling 35:00 [2] 12.0 km (2:55 / km) +95m 2:48 / km

legs feeling it...may take a few days off the bike
