Run 1:32:00 [3] 17.0 km (5:25 / km)

Back to something reasonably close to normality - still a bit slow (although doing the first half-hour in the dark probably had a bit to do with that), but had some good stretches through the middle and reasonably strong on the hills of the Bulleen pipeline track later on. Achilles a little sore in the later stages, but nothing to worry too much about. Probably the longest I'll do between now and Easter.

The far point of this run was the Eastern Freeway footbridge between Doncaster and North Balwyn, a place which has been much seen in the news in recent days. As one might expect, the small park at the end has become a shrine to the victim of the appalling crime committed there this time last week (the sea of flowers must be the best part of 20 metres wide); I paused briefly to pay respects.

In Canberra for the next couple of days.
