Went for a recovery jog with Ilka and Wolf on the lovely channel track at #7 Res.

This was the local orienteering event on the Royal George Company map. I did course 1 which had a straight line distance of 6.7km, but ended up running (or mostly running) 9.16km to get around some of the obstacles (out of bounds and private property areas). Loved this; I knew I’d be slow, so was determined to plod around and find all 16 controls. This map has several distinctly different terrains despite it being primarily ex mining terrain. Part street map too, so these areas are separated by areas of housing.
