Note
Toured the Tahawus iron furnace and ruins of miners community nearby. The furnace is surprisingly intact after over 150 years and the informational signs at the furnace and community very interesting. We spent a long time here.

Mostly sunny day in the low 60s; fire tower on top with good views of the high peaks region; cab of tower was closed due to need for repairs--I was happy not to have to make the entire climb; nice, relatively easy walk
