5 PM

Run/walk 29:27 [3] 2.45 mi (12:01 / mi) +23ft 11:55 / mi
shoes: Hoka M Clifton 5

Tried going a bit further than the last couple of runs. To make that possible, I made the running intervals shorter than before -- generally 3.5 min running / 1 min walking.

Group cycling class at the Eastside Y again. Tough workout (again). Logged 16.0 miles and 376 kcal, both slightly higher than last week.

Run/walk 22:03 [3] 1.79 mi (12:21 / mi) +1ft 12:20 / mi
shoes: Saucony Cohesion

I tried running slower but for longer -- 5 min running / 1 min walking. It worked, although my average pace was slower than usual.

Biking (stationary) 18:04 [3] 4.1 mi (4:24 / mi)

Two loops around the Campus Loop, at Webster Rec. First lap I was going pretty much all out, to try to beat this ghost rider that I can't quite figure out. I managed to, by around 6 seconds. Took it a lot easier on the second lap. First lap was 8:40 which means the second lap must have been 9:24.

ahr:134 max:144 shoes: Saucony Cohesion

3 min run / 1 min walk.

At this slow pace, my hamstring actually felt OK. I felt more limited by my lack of conditioning.

My chiro, Mike R., after working over my hamstring for two visits, suggested trying this run, and if it went OK, to do a similar run tomorrow.
