shoes: Inov-8 Trailroc 245 (2nd pair)
A few laps in the crisp, sunny morning.
My TR245s just started developing the same insole issue (same left side, too) as my last pair: insole slowly slides to the rear during a run. And this pair I never (well, rarely) took the insoles out, which was what I thought the issue was. New theory: shoes are permeated with dust, dirt, and sand, creating a bit of a 'ball bearing' effect between the insole and the shoe. Going to wash them and see if they recover.
I'm also going to (as I said before and never did) contact Inov-8 for any thoughts, and maybe new insoles ... they don't actually sell them, which is annoying. Aftermarket insoles generally try to do 'too much', and weigh way too much.
Three months is nowhere near the lifespan I expect from Inov-8s, even with what I put them through.
