Castlecomer Green course
Started quite quickly, and was clean through the first sections, but it wasn't very hard. Was pretty fine through the open area. A bit hesitant on 8, but was well ahead of the others on the split so it seemed it didn't matter. Got a bit stuck cutting across from path to path to 9, not sure what way would have been better to do this, but it did feel like some time loss.
On 10 I was also surprised at how quickly I hit the marsh, but not a big issue.
Stuck in the lake a little to 14, came from the wrong side.
Leaving 15, I went straight which was silly really. 45s - 1min lost just on getting stuck in the green. Andreas passed me back out on this leg.
Pretty clean through the last section too, another 20s lost on the run-in finishes not being synced.

Generally, a pretty good, and clean race. Felt a bit like I was still holding back because of my ankle, so I'll need to try sort that out asap.

Shadowed Clodagh for 1 course, and then did the technique session, which was actually really nice.

Tramore night-o.
Started in a train with a lot on our course first. Was with roar for a couple of controls, and then on the longer one back to 3, I got dragged a little and had to climb an uneccessary hill. roar got away here, but not too far, and the train were behind me.
Got a little unsure to 5, and then once we found it, and I tied my lace, roar had really dropped us, so we continued through a not-so clean finish to that loop, before heading out on the 2nd loop. Ended up having the same gaffle as eoinmcc, and we started out together. He passed me on a routechoice, but I caught up when he messed up. Was a bit behind hm for the next not-so clean bit, but when he made a big mistake I went cleanly into it and past him. Clean through the final section too, but had a shocker on the last control, and lost 3-4mins on a parallel error.
Got up to the top of the hill as eoin came from the other side, so we raced towards the finish.
Fortunately hit a nicer line and was able to finish just ahead, but was well behind roar, corbett, and conor.

Nice to make it out to one of their longer sessions for a change, this is the stuff I want to do really.
Running alright. Never done the mile loop in Deer park before, so this was enjoyable.
