Pine Forest to Fairy Castle and back.
Solid steady pace.

Hill reps - 10 x 50sec on Kilmashogue, with 50sec downhill recovery.
Damn, this was tough.
Thought about hopping on up to Fairy Castle afterwards, but I didn't need the distance, just the session.
No Fairy Castle for me.

500m row, walkouts & stretching warm up.
4 * (5 x 30kg) back squats.
3 * (8 x 5kg) split squats (each leg).
2 * (5 pull ups into 1min plank).

Easy session on return, but still a little tough.
Feeling nimble enough.

Steady run with CillinC. Felt easy, but solid.

Got WOC Middle - delighted, particularly given the year it's been.

Easy jog, ran down the river, and met up with CillinC.
Pretty lethargic, but perked up on the jog home after a wee break.
Garmin looks a bit better now. We'll see.

Run from Masseys to Tibradden, and back with Aoife and Róisín.
Did a short extra loop in Cruagh on the way back.
No Fairy Castle this evening unfortunately though.

Training in some other forest whose name also escapes me.

Went fine, only focused technique for a few controls, but they were mostly good.
Planning is the key.

Lough Vaa training

Did shadowing exercise with roar.
Very nice area, we took roughly every 2nd control. Technique was much better when I was concentrating on it here, just doing all the right things, it's crazy.

Orienteering 40:00 [2] 5.0 km (8:00 / km)

Training in a forest whose name I cannot remember.

Went fine. When I climbed up to the green, there had been some felling and some windfall too which was a bit off-putting, but it was nice forest for the most part.
A bit less focused than earlier
