biking - red bike 53:43 intensity: (40 @1) + (21:52 @2) + (28:55 @3) + (2:16 @4) 13.58 mi (3:57 / mi) +392ft 3:51 / mi
ahr:132 max:158 weight:143lbs

Mid 50s, S 10-15 mph. Last of the warm days, figured I should get out before any rain that might appear. Still some snow around but it has taken a beating the last few days. And the river is running high from the melting further north.

It's going to be a while before spring gets here, but this has been a nice taste of it.

biking - red bike 41:10 intensity: (46 @1) + (15:34 @2) + (24:50 @3) 11.14 mi (3:42 / mi) +74ft 3:40 / mi
ahr:131 max:148 weight:143lbs

64F, S 10-15 mph. Same as yesterday -- same route, pretty much the same weather, the wind was just a little more energetic. But a gorgeous late February late afternoon.

biking - red bike 42:15 intensity: (58 @1) + (28:36 @2) + (12:41 @3) 11.13 mi (3:48 / mi) +76ft 3:46 / mi
ahr:127 max:145 weight:143.5lbs

60F, S 5-10 mph. Beautiful day, last few miles were exceedingly pleasant with both the breeze and the sun at my back. Still wore tights, but just 1.5 shirts. There's more winter to come, but this is a real nice interlude.

biking - red bike 49:19 intensity: (44 @1) + (23:23 @2) + (22:32 @3) + (2:40 @4) 12.43 mi (3:58 / mi) +355ft 3:52 / mi
ahr:132 max:160 weight:143lbs

Low 50s, light breeze from the south, sunny. Pretty nice for February!

Only one pair of tights today, and skipped the orange puffy jacket. Don't know if being dressed a little less like the Michelin Man, or putting a little more air in the tires, or both, had anything to do with it, but the bike was moving along better today.

Very nice to get done and not feel discouraged. Been a while. :-)

ahr:131 max:158

Low 40s, S 5-10 mph. Another day of just getting something done, but better than not being able to do even this.

That's coming...

biking - red bike 51:19 intensity: (53 @1) + (14:37 @2) + (33:53 @3) + (1:56 @4) 11.98 mi (4:17 / mi) +338ft 4:10 / mi
ahr:135 max:154 weight:144lbs

To Montague Center, back along the river. 43F, NW 10-15. The usual, felt feeble but got it done.

The back is managing better than I expected, still sore lower right side but getting better. But discovered a day or so after the fact that my left shoulder and ribs were also sore, but fortunately neither badly so. My recollection is that the ski slope was a very hard base with a modest amount of nice snow on top, so the skiing was fine, but when you fell there was no give. When I did it, it felt like I landed on concrete...
