Back to Benalla last night and didnt feel up to running today so walked around the lake, which is drained and is now a river. Saw a large black platypus under the footbridge (l have never seen one there before, although other people have), stopped to pat an elderly lady's dog, and observed a sentinal cockatoo on guard in the hollow of an old tree. So much to see!
