Turned out to be quite a solid week of training. Had planned some innebandy tonight, but since I've had to wear the inov8s this week while waiting for my bag from spain my toes have become pretty beaten up. The bag should arrive tonight though so next week will be easier.

Running long 1:34:20 [3] 21.0 km (4:30 / km)

shortish long run, 16 on paths then 5 on the treadmill. Had planned half and half but it wasn't too icy out and I couldn't face too long on a treadmill. Felt better running on paths, I think I'm learning how to cope with the ice, but the legs were wrecked from yesterday.

Legs and core. Long time since I've done a legs set, and felt pretty weak as a result.

Running hills 1:13:13 [3] 13.6 km (5:23 / km)

8 reps up to the castle. Nasty conditions tonight and really didnt feel in the zone to do intervals once I left my building. As usual though, training with a group made the whole thing more enjoyable and the reps felt really strong, even with quite an icy section near the top. Slow warm up and down.

Icy, slushy run south along the river and then back through ultuna and backbanan forest. Quite tight legs, not sure whether that's from last night's training or all the different muscles that were clenched up on the slippery parts.

Monday Jan 12, 2015 #

Orienteering intervals 55:00 [3] 12.0 km (4:35 / km)

Sprint intervals around the north side of town. Hadn't run a sprint for 6 months and it showed, made some sloppy errors but fun running in deep snow. Cold air gave me some nasty track hack.

45 minute rockgympa and some innebandy. A lot of fun.
