Monday Dec 1

Running hills (UBOC) 30:00 [4] 5.5 km (5:27 / km)
rhr:44 slept:6.0 shoes: Pink Asics
The UBOC people didn't turn up for training ( they were late/working) so went and did my own training session. Did short intervals of 85m fast, 95m sprint and 150m back jogging slowly x5 with the last one walk back. Then did 3 sets. Pretty boring but felt fast and raced cyclists and cars.
Probably could have gone faster but I was pounding on the roads a bit and was v. uncomfortable and had no-one to run against.

Run to the water tower and back and then drills and exercises.

Havn't been for a long run for a while and so decided to go and explore Clifton which is quite a long way away. Was pretty good but probably should have run faster though didn't know where I was going most of the time.

Saturday Nov 29

Cycling hills 45:00 [3] 14 km (3:13 / km)
As havn't used my bike yet decided to go out for a cycle. Was trying to get to the river severn but missed the turning and got to Avonmouth (ultimate map memory!). Absolutely freezing and forgot to put gloves on so was trying to warm them up a lot of the time. Went up a lot of hills - and down again which was fun though the gears kept jumping again so was pretty difficult going up hill as kept changing to harder gears!

Thursday Nov 27

Running intervals (Stoke Bishop) 35:00 [4] 5.5 km (6:22 / km)
shoes: Pink Asics
800m intervals on a hilly loopx 5 with 1min rest. Pretty horrible but good long interval training. Then did 5 short 100m sprints with jog recovery to keep the speed up.
