Note
About to hop on a plane to Munich for the weekend. Have packed running gear - think that may be as far as it goes.....

Track session with the San Doms. 6 x 800 - there was a fairly large group of us so we split into groups, got a lot less recovery than the last couple. Good, but really started to feel the lactic on the last rep.
Splits were: 2:46, 2:42, 2:45, 2:44, 2:43, 2:41 with 1:20-1:30 recoveries. Interestingly, these are better splits than the 800s I ran last week and they had longer recoveries.
A guy who came tonight said I should consider shorter races, that it looks like I have good style and strength for 400 and 800s! Hmmmm.
Running warm up/down 35:00 [2]
Riding to track, 5 mins on the stairs, 5 min around the track as warm up.
5 more mins round the track and ride home as cool down.

Tried a new loop along the Ely River. Pretty boring, runs parallell to a major highway. It took less time to get to my turnaround point so I did a lap of an oval that was there. As I was leaving there was a group of 'youths' coming in and one of them kind of jumped out at me, so I jumped back, probably a little too (unintentionally) aggressively. So they all started shouting at me and I got a bit uneasy as it was a pretty dodgy area so did a piss bolt down some street and got a bit lost.
Got the 'Go Home' function on the GPS cranking and made my way through the streets until I recognised something. Oops.
