| Middle training up in the mountains. Nice and cool and wet and steep.
Really good fun. We jogged to the top, put out and then ran a star relay like course, and then did a downhill course to get back to the car. | ||

Really fun, detailed little old town. A bit hard to read the map in places (and it wasnt sprint spec and was printed on laser) but that wasn't too bad. Had a pretty clean race, but hestitated several times to check route choices | ||

Not the best run this morning. Was going well up to the 7th (although lost a bit on #5), and had caught Robbie (2mins) and Vanessa (4min). Then lost it on controls 8-11, probably wasted about 7-8min total in the section. Just wasn't reading the map enough and not used to using vegetation as the primary navigational feature. Cruised through the last past of the course with the odd small error. | ||

Much better than this morning, quite happy to have a second run here. Concentrated on reading the map more than normal and being very careful with direction. No mistakes to speak of but hesitated quite a lot, often just before the control. I was even managing pick the little clearings through green and notice things like distinctive trees and root mounds this time. | ||

| Intervals on the soccer pitch while the others ran in the forest. Did 20 lengths of the field (~100m) starting one every 30sec, so about 16s running and 14sec rec. | ||

| Sprint training in Brno with Robbie and Kathryn. Robbie set three courses with different length splits to keep us together. Took about 9, 7, 15 min respectively.
Good fun, really cool town. Although maybe doing it at lunch time wasn't the best idea, the town was packed. | ||
