Quick cruisy run to Seaford and back. Legs were a bit flat from a couple of hard efforts over the weekend. Got quite cold and wet after being caught out in a quick shower.

Back running again. Cruisy run to Seaford and back with Dave. Thought that magpie season was over, but apparently it's not!

Made the most of day light saving and went out for a hit out on Beach Road with Dave. Got to Brighton Baths and turned around. Did some HARD turns with Dave for the last 10kms - very hard on the front, got a good rest on Dave's wheel.

Saturday Oct 4

Did my hill ride in the Mt Eliza Ranges - Up Oliver's Hill and Humphries Road, then 2 x Mountain Ave, Humphries Rd (back side), and Two Bays Rd. Felt pretty good. On thedescent for the fifth rep I got passed by a cruising hotted up Cervelo Triathlon bike, whilst I was in the death tuck on nobblies. Passed him at the turnaround whilst he was having a Gu, he cruised passed me soon after on the flatter section at the bottom until he got about 80m ahead. I held that for a bit then gradually caught and passed him. I then heard gears going up and down, I assume in attempt to regain some speed after being passed by a girl on a mountain bike. Got him by about 50m at the top, very satisfying!

Did some stregth stuff on the wind trainer up to level 2, didn't go below level 1 (which is the 2nd level).

Floated a lap of Patterson River and canals. Intentionally cruised with the aim of getting some decent technique happening. It's a very windy day for a paddle!

Ride to Dandenong and back. Came back 10 minutes quicker with the wind.
