Cycling tempo (Road) 56:50 [3]27.8 km (2:03 / km)
Canford Heath - Kinson - Hurn - Holmsley. Cycled with pack over to help WSX set up tomorrow's Dorset Delight. Pushing all the way.

Cycling tempo (Road) 52:40 [3]27.8 km (1:54 / km)
Holmsley - Hurn - Kinson - Canford Heath. My first ever proper ride averaging under 2:00/km. Bit of a cheat tho as quite short and twice as much descent as ascent on the way back. Still quite chuffed with it tho - less than a minute off that all important 20mph average.

Running (Road/XC) 49:17 [3]9.9 km (4:59 / km) +145m 4:38 / km
Canford Heath. Even tho it was absolutely peach cycling weather, perhaps even better than yesterday I went for a fast jog around the heath for a bit of variety. About time, it's been over four weeks since my last proper training run and 10 days since last actual running - sort it! Felt heavy but also solid.

Cycling tempo (Road) 2:17:15 [3]66.9 km (2:03 / km)
Canford Heath - Wareham - Corfe - Swanage - Studland - Corfe - Wareham - Canford Heath. Back in Poole so did the usual around the harbour route. Tried to keep the pace under 2:00/km which was going great until the big hill b4 Studland. Over the top and put the boot in to try and get the average back but half way down saw a sign 'ferry service suspended'. Wudda been nice to have that sign at Corfe or Swanage or even back at the top of the hill but no, might as well been on the f-ing ferry itself. Had a bit of a motivation moment post 180 - had been looking forward to a break on the ferry then sprinting the last seven miles. Instead no break, lots more climb and more like seventeen miles. Got it sorted by Wareham and cycled my tits off for a negative split but sadly denied. Had a dodgy lower back last few days, feeling all twisted up in the glutes which wasn't helping.
