Hop from island group to island group across Queen Charlotte Channel.
Avoid cruise ships. Reach Port Hardy, pick up car, and drive home.

Day 13: Kelp Head to Shelter Bay. Round Cape Caution, which is a lot easier than people make it out to be. Catch flood down Queen Charlotte Strait for a ways. See a few more whales in the distance.
Scattered light rain and light headwind. My tent leaks.

Day 12: Wolf Beach to Kelp Head. Saw a wolf in the morning.
Rain, current and wind waves against us. Difficult paddle
around Dublin Point. Calm fog in the evening, so we push on
across Fitz Hugh Sound. Humpack whale surfaces 30
yards to my right in the middle of the Sound, startling me.

Day 11: Gosling Island to Wolf Beach (n. Calvert). Cloudy morning turns
sunny. This is our favorite beach yet. A mile wide sand beach, sunny
days, and we have it all to ourselves. Wolf tracks on the beach.
