ankle really hurting from long run yesterday
not reallly sure why because didn't go over on it
hopefully will be better tomorrow and the weekend

Strength and conditioning 1:30:00 [1]
shoes: New balance M768
group strength and conditioning session at hallam
pretty early start at 7 but woke me up nicely
long warm up then focussed on lifiting techniques. Was hard at first but got better quite quickly. Need to build some shoulder muscles to stop the bar digging in to my spine!!!
Have booked in for a 121 session with Dave next Weds and also physio on the 16th.

run home from hallam cos had to get to lectures for 10

jog with ash to 10 kaye place
jog with dave baba and ash to grindstone

long run with dave, baba, ash, magic, beasant

home - grindstone - graveyard - stables - allotments - mikes path - along top path - over golf course and into park by lodge moor - along through woods up to redmires - round back and up far side - straight line to head stone - down spur to rivelin dam - up to top - along to head of wyming brook - all the way back from there the same way. (from dave's long cos i didn't know wherei was going/had gone)

really enjoyable and great weather. felt fine for most of it; legs felt really heavy up hills at end

plus there was SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

was absoultely knackered but cold so ran quite quickly

initial physio session with alison at hallam
really interesting session
found out I have a weak trunk so she's given me some exercises to do on that
also intersting to find out that my left hand side is stronger than my right even though th right is my dominant side. Tis all to do with putting the opposite side when kicking a football/ playing tennis.
lots to work on :)

jog before start then back to minibus afterwards
Orienteering race 1:05:00 [4] 9 km (7:13 / km)
shoes: Walsh PB Ultra Extreme
spook relays at stanton moor
3 legs of 2.2km straight line, 3km actual distance
was oreinteering ok but legs were really heavy from yesterday
really cold and misty as well.
