| Ran with lil Nic around Ashtonfield. Stopped on two occasions to stretch the calves, and poor lil Nic having trouble with her knees. I'm still of the opinion it's because she's growing, but hope it rectifies soon. Might get them checked if it continues as she starts to get back into things. Fantastic evening. I love daylight saving. |

| Another missed training opportunity. Had half a dozen friends over for morning tea, thinkin I'd have time in the arvo for some exam marking and a run. Well they brought champagne and decided to kick on til after 5:30pm. Russ's words "PRIORITIES KAREN!!!' Great to catch up though. |

| Just went for a walk with Russ, and lil Nic rode around. Calves still very tender, and unfortunately I missed the cycle class at the gym, which was my plan for today. |

| Just ran from home again. Can't believe how stiff and sore I am after yesterday's run - hammies, calves, glutes, achilles. Gosh it's only been ten days since I exercised. Maybe it's a combination of my age, running on roads, and I should have gone easier - but that would be called walking! Anyway, I was just going to do a short run and loosen those stiff muscles, then lil Nic decided to join me on the bike, so went a bit further than planned. Enjoyed her company and the run. I've never been good at warming up and down and stretching routines, but I stretched and stretched and stretched when I got home. Hope those muscles are fine tomorrow. The sickness is certainly getting better, but still quite tight in the chest. |

| This is my first run since Queensland. Russ politely asked me if I remembered how to log training!! Still a bit congested but felt much better than I expected. Coughed and spluttered but managed to push myself pretty hard considering. Really enjoyed it, and didn't get swooped by any magpies. |
