I know this is ridiculously early, but unfortunately as an independent contractor, I have to make work plans a long time in advance. I have about 4 e-mail addresses for Swampfox, but I don't think any of them are current. I think he now uses wyoming.com, but I don't have that. Anyway, Mikell, do you know the dates of next year's 1000 Day? I am sure I will get some outrageous answer which will be very humorous but probably not answer the question.

Mid to late July would be good for me. I've been waiting for a chance to revisit the sunny hills of Laramie.

I regret to inform that due to a sudden Collapse and near total Extirpation of certain of the FDF species in their native northeastern strongholds, the authorities have reacted by placing large swaths of the Rocky Mountain West off limits to all blue cup and/or duct taped Blue Cup Cult Peoples, which they have somehow found out about. They know how close we came to losing the native bison, and they damn sure don't want to risk losing the FDF.

What this means as a practical matter is no 1000 Day will be possible next year, and probably not any other year, as long as the rapacious and insatiable Blue Cup Cultists are on the loose.

Who would've thought that consequences of Blue Cup mania will be so severe?

The G may be low enough that Tangle-Trap could hold the cult leader, but I don't think a bouncing blue cup will attract him. Perhaps an O' practice tool could be have its handle coated and be anchored next to some O' practice balls, in some inviting terrain.

I don't want my first Laramie experience to be my last...

Swampfox would actually be delighted to let you know he dates of the 2008 1000-Day, as soon as the organizer of said event gets in touch with him and tells him when it's going to be. He can supply maps. Volunteers?

I had fun working in the finish van last year. I'll volunteer for that job again.

Oh, it's not the Indians that's the issue. It's the chief.

Maybe if enough Indians mass together, they can drag the chief along in the swell of enthusiasm. Especially if we promise scantily clad skogsnymphs and cute bank tellers.
