Doesn't stop anyone running up and down Mount St! I generally exercise my discretion in ignoring those signs and I think they apply more to 'organised' exercise groups, which charge money, or exercising at inappropriate hours (e.g. when the local posh residents are trying to eat their din dins in peace).
I figured. But it seemed strange being the only person doing bog-laps up and down. Normally there is quite a crowd. I think if I ever got a "ticket" for exercising, I would frame it.
Really, a crowd riding up and down Mount St? I ride home that way and I'm always afraid I'm going to snap a brake cable one day. It's the whole reason my brake pads wear out faster than normal.
Maybe I've just been there during the "Saturday exercise-hour" or something like that.....you know, when the hordes spill over from Jacobs ladder. I have definitely had to fight for space on Mt St before.
Running yes there are usually a few. Cycling though...
