We slipped out while they were still on the White course (and moving slowly).
Wow. My mom could only make it through the first 11 bat species.
They finally ended at 9:40... The long awards went slightly faster than the sprint once Mike figured out to move the picture-taking off to the side....
There was a bat lady? A pretty remarkable innovation.
There was, and it was very interesting for a while, just went on way too long.
And, given that the subject of the talk was "Bats of Kentucky", I was surprised/disappointed that there was no mention of the Louisville Slugger.
A very avid biologist; she clearly enjoys her work. She could put mention of the Louisville Slugger on the "myths about bats" slide. :-)
The coolest thing about Louisville Slugger is that they are now owned by a Finnish company.
And it is commonly known that now the best bats are made in Ottawa, Ontario....
