Yah....not a good ride. The group was about 25 and we were in tight single file at a decent speed, 45 - 50kph. The wheel touch happened near the middle of the pack and there wasn't a lot of time or room to avoid falling riders. I think I should resurrect my mountain biking activity and only have to worry about running into trees and such ;-)

Not a bad idea - I feel much safer mountain biking than road biking. Saw some bad crashes at Trans Alps too. Faster speeds and hard pavement are not a good combo.
