I think a lot of people would benefit from the type of technical training you're taking about (me included!). There don't seem to be very many training sessions in Ireland that aren't targeted at either juniors or elites. Tagging along to either type has its benefits, but it's not individualized.

Do club training events even happen anymore? We're hoping to put one on in Cork in September but it will be targeted at CorkO people moving to light green and green standard.

There was a real buzz for tech training at our WEE Series tonight. I wonder can we get something going, a la SEDS maybe. Even a collection of informal trainings that can be shared. Probably a bit different (less formal) to what you're suggesting Rob. We can all do TD5 and can do these sessions. Thoughts?

I was trying to do that in Dublin last winter but it didn't really take off for various reasons. I think it requires and organised group who are all committed to putting on training for the other members, or else an individual who is willing to put on lots of trainings.
