Hey Tiny, sorry to hear about your tire. Great effort. What kind of tire was it?

Michelin Comp something or other. I've been riding with them for a few years now, I must have gone over something that tore it as I had a pretty good cut into the tire. No idea what though.

Better to get it broken now before the KEEN race, eh?

Ohh, I have the same tires, Michelin Comp S. I was thinking of retiring my oldest one. Take care of your knee, and I'll do the same.

Never been a fan of the Michelin Comps. Too soft, they wear down fast.

So what is Dr. Zoolander's prescription for a light AR tire?

zoolander:
Bontrager Revolt Super X clincher. Durable, fast, excellent cornering. I'd ridden on the Comps and was never sold on their cornering. Profile was too round. The revolts are a nice ride and excellent for road/double track/singletrack. Not stellar in the mud.

They look pretty good, but a bit heavy.
I'm running a Specialized Python NG in the back, and it's working well.

not super heavy comparably. I'm not sure what your specialized is running, but these are below 600 g I believe.
