I knew I was in a bad area and it was time to turn around when a man told me, "no white girls run here."

Were you in San Antonio too, Pat? Where and how did they tell you that? There are some nice areas to run there but that would have required a car that I didn't have. The Mission Trail along the river was cool. I did that on my previous trip there.

I was in Columbia, SC. At first, I was running through a very nice area and all of a sudden the neighborhood changed dramatically; in about one block. A man out on the porch made that comment to me, so I turned around.
