How about joining the SNP? - then you don't ever need to worry about Labour and can positively influence Scotland's choice in the future.
Hmmm. Let me think why I voted Labour at the last election... That's right - the only person with a chance of beating the SNP! But seriously, not having an effective opposition is not good for any democracy.
The referendum has been interesting though to see that there really are lots people out there with totally tangential viewpoints, and their ability to win a 50% referendum can devastate other people's lives. It's scary stuff, and I dread another Scottish referendum.
Why dread another Scottish referendum? Its possibly the only chance to avoid hard-right government that you will get - living in Scotland your vote in a Westminster election is pretty much irrelevant as the English electorate and number of MPs is far greater and cancels out any attempt at moderation in Scottish MPs/votes.
In addition the finance sector could easily be completely stuffed by the Out vote...
Because we have better things we could be doing than fighting each other. I've had more than enough of small minded Kippers and nationalists blaming the woes of the world on Johnny Foreigner. Holyrood has plenty enough powers and plenty enough talent.
