So that will be two cycling sessions of 30 minutes or less, like your doctor recommends? ;-)
I'm also allowed 3 running sessions of 30 minutes or less. I just have to run fast in the middle and slow in the sprint. Although he did also say no racing and only do one a day. I thought it was funny that he was trying to make me feel better by pointing out that I get to do 5 30 minute workouts in a week. Anyone else would be crying foul at that much, not an adventure racer, we're left thinking... what do I do with all this free time now.
Yeah, I know what you mean - I'm thinking that I'll need a new hobby now that I can't train very much.
I didn't realize you were talking about the Ont. Orienteering Champs - I thought there must be another cycling event going on. Yes, you can probably do the sprint and middle then. I'm debating whether I want to race-walk around the middle distance course. It would look silly to walk the sprint, and the organizers might be there all day if I walk the long, so that's probably my only option. After three relatively good days, the knee is absolutely killing me today... :-(
GHO could always use a few more mappers or course planners so if you have lots of free time.....
Actually I was thinking of offering my services for RtH as that's probably out for me. Mappers and course planners... right you were talking to Bash there weren't you
I find it ironic that Pixie is Bond Girl and you're on the bench this fall! Oh how the tides have changed or perhaps hell is frozen!? Ah i'm just teasing you...i think we've all been injury list sometime in life. Just get on Pixie's case about training, i have great fun doing that! Fear is wonderful thing ;)
Hey Tiny, maybe we can put together a new, slow team for RTH. We could call ourselves the Knee Huggers.
Only if you wear neoprene sleeves on the knees and braces!
OK, now who do I get to be the 3rd treehugger? Hingo and I need a female to keep up our fabulous treehugger image.
I was hoping to get K/O, but she's going with Luscious and Thumbs-of-Death.
