Will someone please explain the usefulness of the Racing Splits analysis page? In particular, what is a "median split delta"?

Much as in Winsplits, the analysis can identify where you made a mistake or ran a leg particularly well. Usually, you'll already know this but sometimes it will surprise you and show you where you could improve. As to the "median split delta", since for each split the analysis computes how far in percentage terms you were behind the leading time on that leg, the median value of all those is a reasonable statistic to use to answer the question, "How much slower than the best was I running on legs I neither screwed up nor did particularly well on?".

The median is used rather than the average because a big boom on a single leg will skew the average slower, whereas the median will be unaffected. Of course, if you boom more than half the legs, the median will reflect that.
