Discussion: there is a back way into LL...

there is a back way into LL by going thru Gloversville. Its a bit longer but no crazy hills. We take it some times just for fun. And there is a secret mini XC area there called Arctic Circle.

it was snowing hard, smaller roads did not get any cleaning yet.

funny : the back way is a bigger road! just takes longer

I just came back from finland. Got some great skiing in a bunch of areas. Everything is groomed and its all free. These are the trails in Kuopio where we skied one day.
some places had two sets of lanes for traffic in different directions!
