Discussion: Meets in Anchorage Alaska before & after NAOC Yukon 2018

Just wanted to extend an invitation to everyone traveling to Whitehorse this summer for NOAC to swing by Anchorage Alaska since you are in the neighborhood :-) We are planning two orienteering meets that would be great for visitors.
Saturday August 11th a traditional format meet at Mirror Lake, a venue about 1/2 hour drive north of Anchorage that provides a quintessential example of orienteering in Alaska on one of our best maps.
Wednesday August 29th a short format meet at Earthquake Park, a venue in the city of Anchorage that has was created by the historic 1964 Earthquake. The intricate terrain in this park is amazing and we call it our orienteering playground.
