World Orienteering Day is rapidly approaching-- officially May 23-29, 2018, but in the U.S, it will be May 19-29, 2018.
WOD provides a great opportunity to spread the word about orienteering events that are happening around the world. People in your community, young and old alike, can be part it. This year, OUSA has an initiative to help bring newcomers to all your club’s events by creating publicity about World Orienteering Day and launching a revamped OUSA homepage including a “Find-a-Nearby-Event” feature.
To get involved and participate in WOD and the OUSA initiative, please go to the
OUSA Library and review these documents: The "WOD Club TO DO List" and the "Press Release template." The TO DO List should only take a few minutes and the customizable press release will save you time in publicizing your WOD event.
And even if you are NOT hosting a WOD event, we need you to check/update your club info on the
OUSA website and list your upcoming events on the Attackpoint events list.
